Red Phone

To turn your iPhone to red light mode, follow these step-by-step instructions:


For iPhone X and Newer Models:

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap on Accessibility.
  3. Select Display & Text Size.
  4. Scroll down to Color Filters and toggle it on by tapping the switch at the top of the screen.
  5. Choose Color Tint as your filter option.
  6. Scroll down to find the Intensity and Hue sliders. Slide both of these all the way to the right to maximize the red effect

For iPhone 8 and Older Models:

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Tap on General.
  3. Select Accessibility.
  4. Choose Display Accommodations.
  5. Tap on Color Filters and toggle it on at the top of the screen.
  6. Select Color Tint as the filter.
  7. Adjust the Intensity and Hue sliders by sliding them all the way to the right for the deepest red

Creating a Shortcut for Easy Access:

For both newer and older iPhone models, you can create a shortcut to quickly toggle the red light mode on and off:
  1. Go back to the Accessibility menu (for older models, this is under General).
  2. Scroll down to the bottom and tap on Accessibility Shortcut.
  3. Choose Color Filters from the list of options.
  4. Now, you can quickly switch between normal screen and red tint by triple-clicking the Side button (on newer models) or the Home button (on older models)
